What are the core and specialisation courses?
CORE COURSES
The Master in Management’s core courses aim to provide students with a global and strategic approach to all issues of management. Students acquire the ability to adapt their decision-making process to any complex, interdisciplinary, perpetually changing environment, with diverse cultures.
SPECIALISATION COURSES
The Master in Management is a 2-year program at the heart of Lyon which mixes theoretical knowledge and practical experiences provided by academics and professionals.
The program aims to give students the capability of evaluating the complexity of the international business arena by providing them with analytical tools for decision-making processes. Students will also develop their communication, leadership and teamwork skills. Interactive learning methods are used in the program such a business simulation, conferences on international business issues or storytelling.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT
Workshops and coaching are organized to optimize students’ understanding of business standards, personal branding and digital tools for employment.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Each student partakes in a consultancy project and a 6-month internship in France or abroad to improve their level of work experience.
Consultancy project: A company commissions a group of students on a real business project
Internship: A 6-month work experience placement, in France or abroad. ESDES provides support for placements and knowledge of the employment market.
MASTER’S THESIS
The Master’s thesis is the final task of the program. This must demonstrate a capacity for reflection, method and professionalism, and confirm, in writing, all the skills students have acquired.
REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must currently be finishing or have already completed their third year of a bachelor degree (equivalent to 180 ECTS credits).
After receiving the application, including supporting documents, the admissions board will review the complete file. Candidates will then be invited for a personal interview by Skype.
After the interview, the final admission results will be communicated by email.
