Sports at UCLy

Taking part in sports is strongly encouraged at UCLy. Every student, whatever their level (just for fun, regional or inter-regional university championships, national or even international matches), should take part in one of the 20 sports available through the university

A sporting association for the benefit of the students

The A.S. UCLy is an association (under the law of 1901) and is managed by the Bureau des Sports (BDS) and run by students, 2 sports instructors, and 15 external contributors.

The association enables all students from UCLy, and partner schools, to participate in a sporting activity in a university setting, and brings together nearly 700 students each year to practice the sports of their choice.

It thus provides the opportunity to unite a diverse student body in a common activity.

Some twenty sports activities are offered throughout the year at UCLy for all levels: leisure, regional or inter-regional university championships, national or even international meetings, etc.
