The Lyon Law School is a department of UCLy’s Faculty of Law and European and International Political Studies.
The Lyon Law School offers several undergraduate programmes in Law. These programmes follow the Faculty’s distinctive educational model, which contributes to the training of highly qualified legal professionals. Particular emphasis is placed, firstly, on students’ acquisition of strong theoretical, technical and methodological skills through a teaching approach that combines traditional and innovative methods, and secondly, on students’ academic success and personal fulfilment, notably through personalised support.
All our programmes aim to train highly qualified and critical-minded legal professionals (lawyers, notaries, judges, in-house counsel, etc.) who will play an active role in the development of our society.
We seek to achieve this by developing our students’ theoretical, technical and methodological skills through innovative teaching methods and personalised support.
We also seek to support our students in pursuing an international academic pathway, through partnerships with universities in the English-speaking world and the United States.
