Why and how can you obtain the Label Profil International?
The UCLy Label Profil International is a scheme set up by the International Relations Office in close cooperation with the Extended Learning Department .
It turns your experience abroad into a real asset for your future.
The label Profil International highlights your ability to thrive in an international environment and helps you translate this experience into specific skills that will stand you in good stead for your CV and job interviews.
It is based on three key stages:
The three stages of the programme
- BEFORE your departure: You set your objectives and prepare your international project, in particular by taking part in one of the following personal development modules: Dynamique des cultures : approche anthropologique (FR) / Visions du monde, cultures et religions : rencontres (FR) / Intercultural Communication (EN).To apply, please contact the Extended Learning Department directly before 1 December of the current year.
- DURING your mobility: You will immerse yourself in a foreign environment and identify the skills you are developing, drawing on real-life situations and your participation in an event during your placement.
- AFTER your return: You will reflect on your experience, take part in a workshop on showcasing your achievements, and build a portfolio that highlights the intercultural skills developed during your mobility period, drawing on a reflective analysis of your journey. You will then present your work to a panel and learn how to showcase your experience for your future career.
Following an interview with a panel comprising representatives from the Extended Learning Department and the International Relations Office, you may be awarded a certificate, subject to the panel’s approval.
This certificate officially recognises your involvement in the programme, highlights your international experience at UCLy and is a real asset when applying for jobs.
