Founded in 1875, our Faculty welcomes young women and men from diverse backgrounds who are looking for an environment conducive to the study of Law and Political Science and, more broadly, seeking a university experience enriched by a wide range of opportunities.
Each year, the Faculty welcomes students to its Saint Paul campus in Lyon and its Alpes Europe campus in Annecy, bringing together people who aspire to join a dynamic and open academic community, where students, lecturers, researchers and administrative staff work together to support academic success and personal fulfilment.
The programmes offered by the Faculty’s various Departments aim to train highly qualified and critical-minded legal and political science professionals who will play an active role in the development of our society. To achieve this, we seek to develop our students’ theoretical, technical and methodological skills, while also fostering their personal development, international outlook and understanding of societal changes, particularly technological developments.
