The scholarship for international student mobility of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region allows students to finance part of their mobility abroad, when it is carried out as part of their university curriculum.
As part of a stay in a foreign country finance:
- study mobilities
- internship mobilities
General Information
The Regional Student International Mobility Grant provides financial support of €95 per week during your mobility abroad.
To be eligible, your mobility period must last at least 4 weeks. Funding is available for a maximum of 26 weeks per mobility.
Throughout your university studies, you may receive this grant on multiple occasions, up to a cumulative maximum of 48 weeks.
Are you a CROUS scholarship holder? You may be eligible for additional financial support ranging from €80 to €530, upon presentation of your CROUS scholarship certificate.
Do you have a disability? You may receive an additional €530, upon presentation of your disability card or an official certificate issued by the MDPH.
Application Procedure
Applications for the grant must be submitted through the institute where you are enrolled. Please note that the International Relations Office is not responsible for the academic aspects of your mobility.
Once your application has been approved, you will need to register on the regional online platform, where you will be asked to upload the following documents:
- Your CV
- Your bank account details (RIB/IBAN)
- Supporting documents relevant to your personal situation
- Your internship agreement (if applicable)
During Your Mobility
Once you have arrived at your host institution or organization, you will need to complete the following steps to receive your grant:
- At the beginning of your mobility: Upload your Certificate of Attendance to receive the first payment (75% of the total grant), which is generally processed within 3 to 4 weeks.
- At the end of your mobility: Upload your Final Certificate of Attendance and your End-of-Stay Report to receive the remaining 25% of the grant.
