International networks
The Catholic University of Lyon reaffirms its identity as a European university, rooted in its local community and open to the world.
As such, it is a member of several national, European, and international academic networks that promote cooperation among institutions of higher education, support student and faculty mobility, encourage the development of research projects, and enhance the University’s international reputation.
These partnerships enable UCLy to participate in joint initiatives, develop lasting collaborations with institutions around the world, and contribute to addressing major challenges in higher education and research.

FUCE - The European Federation of Catholic Universities
FUCE brings together European Catholic universities to address issues related to higher education, research, and the development of the European Higher Education Area. UCLy contributes to the federation’s discussions, participates in international meetings, and benefits from a network that promotes academic exchange and student mobility.

IFCU - International Federation of Catholic Universities
The IFCU brings together Catholic universities from around the world to promote academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation. As a member of this international network, UCLy participates in exchanges between institutions that share common values and contributes to the development of collaborative projects on a global scale.

Campus France (Agency for the Promotion of French Higher Education Worldwide)
UCLy works closely with Campus France, the national agency responsible for promoting French higher education internationally. This collaboration helps raise the University’s profile among international students and enhance its appeal through events, promotional activities, and mobility support programs.

AUF (Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie)
As the world’s leading university network, the AUF brings together more than 1,000 higher education and research institutions in nearly 120 countries. UCLy is part of this Francophone movement by participating in cooperation, research, and innovation projects that promote knowledge sharing and the development of international partnerships.

EJC (Entretiens Jacques cartier)
The Entretiens Jacques Cartier is a major Francophone event that brings together academic, scientific, institutional, and economic stakeholders from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Quebec, and the Canadian Francophonie. UCLy’s participation in this event fosters international dialogue, the sharing of expertise, and the development of new collaborations in numerous fields.

UCLy is a partner of the Contemporary Humanism Network, an international research network bringing together several universities from three continents around a joint doctoral program dedicated to contemporary humanism. This multidisciplinary program, accredited by the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research, conducts research in the fields of philosophy and religion, education, literature, and political and social sciences.

EAIE (European Association for International Education)
Every year, UCLy participates in the annual conference of the European Association for International Education (EAIE), one of the leading international events dedicated to higher education. This event brings together institutions from around the world to discuss issues related to internationalization, mobility, and educational innovation. It allows the University to expand its network of partners, strengthen its international collaborations, and identify new opportunities for academic collaboration.
