The Global Law School (GLS) is a department of UCLy’s Faculty of Law and European and International Political Studies.

The Global Law School provides academic education and training in Law and legal systems, where, depending on the skills required, expertise in European and International Law, Comparative Law and, in particular, the major neighbouring legal systems (the United Kingdom and Ireland), in addition to French Law, is a decisive asset.

Its innovative teaching approach and academic programmes promote both an interdisciplinary and inter-systemic perspective. While legal disciplines are central, critical thinking and the development of professional skills (hard and soft skills) are also at the heart of its educational model.

A strong international outlook, together with close relationships with international partners for study mobility and the awarding of double degrees, are key features of the Global Law School’s profile.
