Summer school in Lyon, France

An Ideal Mix of Law, Business, French language, Culture and  Leisure Activities

This is a four-week program for undergraduate students in Law or Business.

It is a great way to give a real international dimension to your studies. You will join a group of students from all over the world who have come to UCLy to enjoy a mix of studies, culture and leisure.

Professors of different nationalities will share their business, law and cultural experience of the E.U.

  • Candidate profile
The UCLy Summer Program is open to undergraduate students in Business and Law coming from partner and non partner universities.

  • Language
The program is taught in English. Students can chose a French language course as an effective module.
Non native speakers must provide evidence of English language proficiency, for example TOEFL scores or a letter of recommendation from an English teacher.

Students choose their modules.

  • Credit transfer
(ECTS : European Credit Transfer System)
The overall program is worth 10 ECTS, which is equivalent to about 4 credits in the American system.
  • Accommodation and Fees
The Summer School costs 2,400 euros per student (For students who apply and pay the deposit of 600€ before March 5, it is 2150€). It includes tuition, accommodation and cultural activities. The student residence is situated on the banks of the Saône, a few minutes' walking distance from the campus. More information about student residence


  • Student life
This program will also offer many social and cultural activities. This will be a great opportunity for international students to get to know each other, as well as to discover the life and culture of Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage city.
Activities such as city bus tour, trips to the medieval city of Pérouges and to the Beaujolais region, visit to the Lumière museum, the former home of the inventors of the cinema and the discovery of French cuisine are also organized and coordinated by the Catholic University of Lyon.
