Abstract

A quelques mois de l’échéance accordée aux Etats membres de l’Union européenne (30 juin 2026) pour transposer la directive Women on Boards (WoB), le colloque se propose de croiser les travaux de recherche – principalement français et italiens – sur l’effectivité des mesures adoptées pour assurer l’égalité femmes-hommes dans les instances de gouvernance des entreprises. Il met l’accent sur l’état du droit et des pratiques, les obstacles à ladite égalité qui sont de divers ordres (: juridiques, économiques, politiques, sociologiques…), et sur les moyens de les surmonter.

With just a few months to go before the deadline given to European Union Member States (30 June 2026) for the transposition of the Women on Boards (WoB) Directive, the symposium aims at bringing together legal research works – mainly French and Italian – on the effectiveness of measures adopted to ensure gender equality in corporate governance bodies. It focuses on the state of both law and practices, the various obstacles to gender equality (both legal, economic, political, sociological, etc.) and on ways to overcome them.

A pochi mesi dalla scadenza concessa agli Stati membri dell'Unione europea (30 giugno 2026) per recepire la direttiva Women on Boards (WoB), il convegno si propone di mettere a confronto i lavori di ricerca – principalmente francesi e italiani – sull'efficacia delle misure adottate per garantire la parità di genere negli organi di governo delle imprese. Il convegno pone l'accento sullo stato del diritto e de la pratica, sugli ostacoli, che sono de varia natura, a tale parità (giuridici, economici, politici, sociologici...), nonché sui mezzi per superarli.
