Présentation

Noam Zamir est enseignant-chercheur en droit à l'Université catholique de Lyon, où il enseigne le droit international des investissements et le règlement des différends. Il est membre de l'UR CONFLUENCE : Sciences et Humanités (EA 1598).



Les recherches de M. Zamir portent sur le droit international public, les arbitrages investisseur-État et les arbitrages commerciaux internationaux. Il a écrit plusieurs articles dans le domaine du droit international public, notamment sur l'arbitrage international, le droit international humanitaire et les droits de l'homme. Ses articles ont été publiés dans des revues de premier plan telles que l'American Journal of International Law (CUP) et Arbitration International (OUP) et son livre sur le droit international humanitaire a été publié par Edward Elgar (2017).



En outre, le Dr Zamir est un arbitre indépendant (inscrit sur la liste des arbitres du Centre d'arbitrage international de Hong Kong (HKIAC)) et il agit en tant que secrétaire du tribunal dans des arbitrages commerciaux internationaux et des arbitrages de traités d'investissement présidés par M. Neil Kaplan CBE QC SBS et le Dr Michael Moser, deux des arbitres les plus éminents d'Asie.



Zamir a terminé ses études doctorales en 2014 à l'Université de Cambridge (Trinity College) sous la direction du professeur James Crawford. À l'automne 2012, il a été doctorant invité à la Harvard Law School. En 2011, il a obtenu un diplôme d'études supérieures en droit (B.C.L.) à l'Université d'Oxford où il était boursier Weidenfeld. En 2009, il a obtenu son diplôme de LL.B. à l'école de droit Haim Striks, au College of Management Academic Studies, en Israël.
