{"id":450295,"date":"2026-07-06T18:45:53","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T16:45:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ucly.fr\/?page_id=450295"},"modified":"2026-07-09T17:04:49","modified_gmt":"2026-07-09T15:04:49","slug":"european-and-international-projects","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ucly.fr\/en\/international\/european-and-international-engagement\/european-and-international-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"European and International Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Vice Rectorate International Development and Europe<\/strong> supports all European and international projects led by UCLy.<\/p><div class=\"wp-block-faq js-fade-scroll\">\n  <p class=\"wp-block-faq-title\">Ongoing European Projects<\/p>\n\n      <ul class=\"accordion\" data-accordion data-allow-all-closed=\"true\">\n              <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n          <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">ELAN \u2013 Cross-Border School for the Franco-Proven\u00e7al Language<\/a>\n          <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content><h4><strong>June 2, 2026 \u2013 August 31, 2027<\/strong><\/h4>\n<blockquote><p><em>Preserving Franco-Proven\u00e7al Through Education: An Educational Project for an Endangered Transalpine Heritage.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Project Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project aims to create two Francoproven\u00e7al language teaching modules designed for beginners aged 11 to 15 (CEFR levels A1\u2013A2). The content is based on a comprehensive orthography system capable of accounting for the diversity of local varieties while providing a common, readable framework that can be applied across the Alps. The modules are developed using linguistic data collected in the region and integrated into a structured educational program aligned with the CEFR\u2019s competency frameworks. They will be tested in a pilot program in schools and community organizations in Savoie, Haute-Savoie, and the Aosta Valley. Feedback from this pilot phase will help improve and refine the materials, after which training sessions will be organized for teachers, educators, and cultural organizations to facilitate the implementation of the modules in classrooms or workshops.<\/p>\n<p>The project contributes to the preservation and promotion of an endangered regional language by strengthening cross-border cooperation, the exchange of best teaching practices, and an understanding of the connections between Romance languages. It supports international exchanges of students, faculty, and administrative staff within the framework of institutional partnerships. Participants can engage in study, internship, teaching, or training periods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The program&#8217;s objective is to strengthen the international outreach of higher education institutions, promote the exchange of knowledge and skills, and foster sustainable cooperation among partner universities. The project combines the teaching of environmental law with tools of deliberative democracy, notably through the establishment of a European Student Assembly.
