Applications are sent by the French school abroad and then examined by a committee. Selected candidates receive a scholarship for a maximum of five years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a class=\"lien_interne\" href=\"https:\/\/aefe.gouv.fr\/fr\/enseignement-francais\/poursuite-des-etudes-dans-le-superieur\/devenir-boursier-france-excellence-major\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"button\">More info on Excellence Major<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/li>\n              <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n          <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">Scholarships from French Embassies and Consulates abroad<\/a>\n          <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content><p>Every year, the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) awards scholarships to certain foreign students for studies, training courses and language courses in France. The majority of scholarships are awarded by the <strong>Cooperation and Cultural Action Departments (SCACs)<\/strong> in French embassies and consulates general abroad.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Scholarship &#8211; as part of registration in a French institution of higher education with the aim of obtaining a diploma<br \/>\n\u2022 Internship grant -awarded for an average duration of three to twelve months<br \/>\n\u2022 High-level scientific residence grant (research programme, cultural and scientific exchange, etc.) &#8211; awarded for a period of one to three months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To find out the eligibility criteria and to submit an application, please contact the Service de Coop\u00e9ration et d&#8217;Action Culturelle of the French Embassy or Consulate General in your country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/li>\n              <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n          <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">Scholarships offered by your home country<\/a>\n          <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content><p>Many countries provide scholarships to students wishing to study abroad, either through public or private programs. Find out more with yout current higher institution of enrolment, your closest &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.campusfrance.org\/en\/espaces\">Espace Campus France<\/a>&#8220;, your local, regional authorities etc.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/li>\n              <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n          <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">Scholarships for Theology studies <\/a>\n          <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content><p>French-speaking theology students who are not nationals of the European Union or North America and who wish to do a Master&#8217;s or Doctorate in France may apply for a a specific scholarship allocated by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact us or your local French Embassy in order to verify your eligibility.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/li>\n              <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n          <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">Scholarships based on social grounds (CROUS)<\/a>\n          <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content><p>International students under 28 may be eligible to a CROUS <em>(<span class=\"BxUVEf ILfuVd\" lang=\"fr\"><span class=\"hgKElc\">Regional Center for University and School Works<\/span><\/span><\/em>) scholarship under the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nationals of a European Economic Area (EEA) country, under certain conditions<\/li>\n<li>Those refugee or stateless person status, recognised by the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons (OFPRA)<\/li>\n<li>Those who have been resident in France for at least two years and whose tax home has been located in France for at least two years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply for a scholarship, it is necessary to register your Student Social Record (SSD) online. Depending on your situation and your resources, the amount of your aid will vary according to the level (0 to 7) that you will be allocated (up to \u20ac5,554 per year &#8211; for 2024-25).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #b70033;\"><a class=\"lien_interne\" style=\"color: #b70033;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.crous-lyon.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"button\">More info on CROUS scholarships<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/li>\n              <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n          <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">Scholarship from the Foundation GENERATIONS SOLIDAIRES - UCLY's Human Rights Institute (IDHL)<\/a>\n          <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content><p>This private scholarship based on social criteria is for students coming from developing countries to enter the Master degree &#8220;Droit des libert\u00e9s &#8211; Droit international et europ\u00e9en des Droits de l&#8217;Homme&#8221; at the Institut des Droits de l&#8217;Homme de Lyon (UCLy).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><a class=\"lien_interne\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ucly.fr\/formations\/les-formations-de-lucly\/toutes-nos-formations\/master-1-droit-international-europeen-droits-homme\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"button\">IDHL Program page for more info<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Applications for a G\u00e9n\u00e9rations Solidaires scholarship for 2025-26 are now closed.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/li>\n              <li class=\"accordion-item\" data-accordion-item>\n          <a href=\"#\" class=\"accordion-title\">The JEAN MONNET Scholarship Program (agreement between the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye and the European Commission)<\/a>\n          <div class=\"accordion-content\" data-tab-content><p>The <strong>Jean Monnet Scholarship Program<\/strong> is a scholarship funded by the European Union that offers Turkish students, young professionals, and university staff the opportunity to study or conduct research for 3 to 12 months at a university or equivalent institution located in an EU member state. Mobility must be in fields related to the policies and functioning of the European Union. The scholarship covers tuition fees, living expenses (accommodation, meals, transport, communications, cultural activities) and a lump sum for additional expenses (visa, travel, insurance, equipment, etc.).
