School"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Training the future leaders of democracy and public policy<\/strong><\/h2><p>The Schuman School of European and International Political Studies at UCLy trains future professionals in public affairs, European governance, and international relations.<\/p><p>At the heart of today\u2019s major democratic, geopolitical, and societal challenges, the School offers a multidisciplinary programme combining law, political science, international relations, and economic and social sciences.<\/p><p>Its ambition: to train graduates capable of understanding global transformations, analysing public policies, and acting at both European and international levels.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A multidisciplinary programme with an international focus<\/strong><\/h2><p>The curriculum is based on a comprehensive approach to political and legal issues, with a strong European and international dimension.<\/p><p>Students develop:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>a solid political and institutional culture<\/li>\n\n<li>skills in public policy analysis<\/li>\n\n<li>an understanding of contemporary geopolitical dynamics<\/li>\n\n<li>intercultural and linguistic openness<\/li><\/ul><p>The teaching approach also relies on practical simulations (<em>serious games<\/em>, simulations, negotiations), allowing students to progressively immerse themselves in professional realities.<\/p><p>The political science and international relations programme offering will gradually expand, beginning with the launch of the Bachelor\u2019s degree in <em>European and International Legal and Political Studies<\/em>, followed by Master\u2019s programmes from 2027 onwards.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucly.fr\/formations\/les-formations-de-lucly\/toutes-nos-formations\/bachelor-etudes-politiques-europeennes-internationales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bachelor in European and International Legal and Political Studies<\/a><\/strong> (opening in September 2026)<\/h2><p>This Bachelor\u2019s degree offers a three-year programme designed to provide strong foundations in law, political science, and international relations, while developing a global understanding of European issues.<br>It is based on a structured progression, ranging from the understanding of democratic models and European policies to Europe\u2019s role in a multipolar world.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>First year \u2013 European Democracy and Humanism<\/strong><br><em>Europe as a Democratic and Sustainable Model<\/em><\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Second year \u2013 European Law and Policies<\/strong><br><em>European Policy Making and Regulatory Framework<\/em><\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Third year \u2013 Global Europe<\/strong><br><em>Europe as a Multilateral Actor in a Multipolar World<\/em><\/li><\/ul><iframe Schuman School is preparing the launch of several Master\u2019s programmes designed to train experts in European and international affairs in:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>European public affairs and governance (September 2027)<\/li>\n\n<li>Security and defence cooperation (September 2027)<\/li>\n\n<li>Comparative political and parliamentary affairs (September 2028)<\/li><\/ul><p>The launch of these programmes is part of the School\u2019s progressive development strategy.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A school at the heart of European and international issues<\/strong><\/h2><p><\/p><p>The Schuman School is part of a strong international dynamic, training students capable of evolving in multicultural and complex institutional environments.<\/p><p>It
