{"id":82069,"date":"2021-02-08T12:17:01","date_gmt":"2021-02-08T11:17:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ucly.fr\/?post_type=cpt_event&#038;p=82069"},"modified":"2022-01-19T09:16:22","modified_gmt":"2022-01-19T08:16:22","slug":"lecture-of-zach-mollengarden","status":"publish","type":"cpt_event","link":"https:\/\/www.ucly.fr\/en\/ucly\/our-institution\/events\/lecture-of-zach-mollengarden\/","title":{"rendered":"Lecture of Zach Mollengarden"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucly.fr\/l-ucly\/nos-ecoles\/faculte-de-droit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Faculty of Law<\/a> of UCLy is delighted to announce that <strong>Zach Mollengarden<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.threecrownsllp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Three Crowns LLP<\/a>)<strong> will deliver a lecture on \"regulatory chill\" and international investment law, with reference to global efforts to combat climate change.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p><p>The lecture will be held on<strong> Thursday, 10 February 2022 at 13:30 via Zoom.<\/strong><\/p><div class=\"wp-block-text-image\">\n  <div class=\"row align-bottom collapse\">\n    <div class=\"column small-12 medium-6 xlarge-5 xxlarge-expand wp-block-text-image-info js-fade-scroll\">\n      <p class=\"wp-block-text-image-title\"><\/p>\n      <div class=\"wp-block-text-image-intro\"><p style=\"text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 15.0pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif; color: white;\">Zach is an associate in the Washington D.C. office of Three Crowns LLP, a specialist international arbitration firm. His practice comprises international investment disputes, international commercial arbitration, and public international law. Zach holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, where he served as an articles editor for the <em><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif;\">Yale Law Journal\u00a0<\/span><\/em>and submissions editor for the\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif;\">Yale Journal of International Law<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0He received an M.Phil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. degree in political science and religion,\u00a0<em><span style=\"font-family: 'Georgia',serif;\">summa cum laude<\/span><\/em>, Phi Beta Kappa.\u00a0His scholarship has been published in the\u00a0<i>American Journal of International\u00a0Law<\/i>,\u00a0<i>Virginia Journal of International Law<\/i>, and\u00a0<i>Yale Law &amp; Policy Review<\/i>, among
