Are you facing personal, administrative or financial challenges during your studies?
UCLy’s Social Service is here to listen to you and support you in finding solutions. Our social worker can help with a wide range of issues — from budgeting and housing to health, legal questions, family matters and coping with stress — so that you can focus on your academic success and well-being.

The Social Service is a free support service available to all UCLy students, including international students.

Areas of support include :

Budget & financial challenges

Decrease in resources, financial management difficulties, unforeseen expenses, unpaid bills, administrative delays, wage garnishment, overindebtedness..

Health & well-being issues

Sick leave, care procedures, handicap, disability, addictive behaviors, death…

Housing support

Housing application, emergency accommodation, Action Logement, rental eviction, dispute with the landlord, home ownership…

Family matters

Birth, marriage, PACS, separation, divorce, conjugal or intra-family violence, conflict, children, studies and training, parenting support…

Work-related problems

Occupational injury, occupational disease, job retention, unfitness for work, Psycho-Social Risks (PSR), stress at work, breach of contract, training…

How to make an appointment with the social worker?

If you need to reach our social worker, please send an email to ucly@interface-es.fr indicating your faculty, school or institute, your field of study, the reason for your request and your telephone number.

Upon receipt of your message, our social worker will contact you to schedule a phone or in-person appointment. Your situation will be treated confidentially and with respect. You’re not alone — there are services at UCLy to help you succeed and feel supported throughout your studies.
