Presentation

Dr. Nathalie M.-P. Potin is a lecturer and researcher in law and a member of the CONFLUENCE: Sciences et Humanités research unit at UCLy. She teaches at the Faculty of Law and, between 2015 and 2023, was also director of the masters programmes focusing on International Business Law and International Trade and Investment Law and taught in English.
Dr. Nathalie M-P Potin is an English and French qualified lawyer with practical experience gained in both jurisdictions. She specialised in dispute resolution, high value commercial litigation, commercial arbitration and investment treaty arbitration while working in international law firms including DAC Beachcroft LLP, Baker Botts LLP and Clyde & Co LLP. She represented clients in international commercial and investment arbitrations, mediations and litigations. She regularly acts as Tribunal Secretary for large complex arbitration matters and acts as an ADR advisor to several entities. She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a certified mediator. Dr. Potin is registered with various international arbitral institutions and on the EU List of Arbitrators and TSD Experts in Bilateral Disputes under the EU’s Trade Agreements with Third Countries. In an early career, she gained considerable experience from her time at the premier arbitral institution, the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce.
