Dr. Jungwoo Ha is a faculty member at ESDES Lyon Business School. He holds a BA in Business from Yonsei University, an MA in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, and a PhD in Organizational Behavior from London Business School. Much of his research focuses on the relationships among CEO characteristics, top management team dynamics, and firm performance. Another stream of his research is about self-promotion in the workplace, in which people showcase their abilities or accomplishments to be considered competent. Specifically, it explores the question of why and when engaging in self-promotion leads to positive or negative consequences in organizations.
