Benjamin Chapas is a teacher-researcher at ESDES Lyon Business School and a member of the CONFLUENCE: Sciences et Humanités research unit (EA 1598) at the Catholic University of Lyon. He obtained his doctorate in economics at the University Lumière Lyon 2. His work, first carried out in the field of corporate governance, is today more broadly oriented towards understanding the links between companies. , work and democracy in the context of financial capitalism. They have been published in journals such as Applied Economics, Economies and Societies, Revue française de Socio-Economie and Gérer et Comprendre. He is a member of IREPE (Research Institute for the Political Economy of Business). His field of teaching includes the history of economics, business ethics as well as corporate social and societal responsibility.
