[SYMPOSIUM] Judicial Control over Arbitral Awards: Scope, Vacation and Public Policy

Publié le 13 mars 2019 Mis à jour le 25 mars 2019

Arbitration is know as an alternative dispute resolution distinct from national courts. But is it truly independent from the courts? What is the extent of the judicial control over arbitral awards in various legal systems? Lyon Catholic University, the University of Florida and the University of Trieste co-organize this international Symposium to provide a global vision of the enforcement and challenge of arbitral agreements and arbitral awards. This symposium will bring together arbitration experts, both from the academia and the practice, coming from a variety of jurisdictions and bringing to the audience an up-to-date picture of these central issues in international business.
